Has anyone here been to France?

Well I just made this topic on /r/BlackCulture so it is more detailed, but in short just wondering what the experience is like as an African American living in France trying to be immersed? I know Paris is likely going to be diverse so how about other cities? I'm a black guy in my 20s and trying to get this answer from the active black subreddits. Thanks.
