Microsoft 365 a1 for devices license question.
I actually work in a library but it's the same work just smaller. I was wondering if anybody knows if the Microsoft 365 A1 for devices license can be transferred to another computer? Public Libraries are now eligible for this, and I want to license all the computers in the library for this but some of the computers are older. IF I replace the computer with a new one, can I just use the same license as long as it is within the 6 years?

I frequently swap out A1 licenses for A3 licenses on the Microsoft Admin console. It is not tethered to devices. it's tethered to users. I do that at the beginning of the year for our Minecraft club (needs paid A5 accounts) on chromebooks, then later I switch it over ipads for a different set of users.
Starting the beginning of November, They came out with A1 device licensees. Tied to the device not users.

I was wondering if they were transferable to another device before the 6 years. Techsoup will have them for $38 per device and I have seen it for $30 per device.
