Synced Recommend as you browse, autoscrolling and Play DRM settings don't stay put.

I’m wondering if anyone else has this problem. I have several Windows 10 and Linux PCs which have their Firefox settings synced. Firefox on the Windows boxes keeps turning on the “Recommend extensions as you browse” and the “Recommend features as you browse” options and on Linux the “Play DRM-controlled content” and “Use autoscrolling” options keep turning off. I’ve tried setting the options on all the PCs at the same time and individually, but the settings never stay put.

I’m currently running Firefox 95.0, but this has been happening for at least months now and it’s really getting irritating.

Make sure you don't have a user.js file in any of your profiles that applies custom about:config settings at startup.

Just noticing I have the same issue- specifically autoscroll turning itself back off regularly. Did you ever find a convenient fix for this?

I finally gave up and turned off settings sync. So far, that seems to have fixed the problem and hasn't been too much trouble to do manually.
