Small butt, smaller waist, big thighs. Any jeans recommendations?

Hello.

I have searched high and low for recommendations, but the only ones I've found seem to be for big butts. I have lost weight recently and none of my jeans fit anymore. I am underweight and trying to gain it back, but I need jeans in the meantime. Because of this weight loss, my proportions are kinda odd. My size 2 jeans fit my legs (although a 4 might be better) , my size 0 or 00 jeans fit my butt, and my size 00 or 000 jeans fit my waist. Curvy jeans fit my thighs and waist well, but are baggy on my butt. I currently only have two pairs of jeans that kinda sorta fit and are being held up exclusively by my thighs and gap a little in the waist. I have been rotating between them, but my job gets pretty physical at times so I need more jeans that will stay up. Any recommendations? My budget is $100/pair.

Don’t be afraid of tailoring! If you find a pair that fits well enough but gaps at the waist, have them taken in at the waist.

Yes agreed. Getting clothes altered only costs like $5-30 (depending on the work) and it makes such a huge difference. Big confidence booster wearing clothes that fit perfectly!

i have a sort of similar body type, and i've always found that abercrombie jeans fit pretty well. i usually go for the high rise super skinny jeans :) if you're looking for a more loose fit, i've been wearing levi's ribcage straight leg jeans a lot recently and i really like them :)

came here to say this. I've worn various cuts of abercrombie jeans with a similar body type

I was lamenting this exact question today... Just received Levi 724's in two sizes. The larger fits on the thighs, the smaller on the waist and butt. The gaping on the waist on the larger size was a no-go, although they are otherwise more comfortable. They have some stretch so I'm settling for the smaller size and hoping they'll loosen with wear but I'd love to hear other suggestions... Currently I look for a high rise plus stretch to get the fit.

Welcome to my body (never size 2 though

I've found Maurice's jeans fit me well. They lack a brick and mortar store near me (I used to live near one which is how I discovered this) and it's been a few years since ordering, so they may have changed.

I tried a pair of Barbell jeans a few years ago and was pleased. They specialize in an athletic fit, which sounds like the proportions you're describing. They're incredibly strong stretch (with proper care, i.e. no dryer) too, so they are comfortable but don't sag in the knees or crotch. I should add that when I bought them skinny jeans still ruled, so I don't know what other styles they carry today 😋

My body type seems to be the opposite of what clothes are made for. I don't really have a small waist, but I do have a short rise, narrow hips, a smaller behind, and fairly ample thighs. I recently (much to my surprise!) discovered that Anthropology pants work well enough for my body type. It might be the newer boyfriend styles that have lower rise options (they have plenty of high rise if you prefer that) and roomier thighs. The pants are on the pricier side, but it's worth it for me to be able to find jeans that I don't want to rip off after immediately.

you could buy one of those enamel pins that looks like a metal jeans button so that you can bring in the waist of your pants easier

Have you tried bootcut or straight pants? In high school/college I was in between a banana/pear now at 28 am a petite pear. I find that straight and boot cut jeans are the way to go. I buy Levis, Ralph Lauren,Loft and NY Demin. I buy all my jeans at TJ Maxx and the Loft.

abercrombie and fitch! Great for girls with a smaller waist. I have a small waist but thicker hips and thighs. They all fit so amazingly, although you have to go up a size.

I know this is super late but I have a very similar body type and American eagle jeans have been my go to for years. They have enough variety too. Recently I bought a pair of democracy high rise bootcut jeans I love
