Love the stripped back demos he releases
like it, it has potential
I really like the atmospheric sound of this. I think he is on a roll creatively and can't wait to hear album #4. Also, I think his vocals on this and We're Gonna Get There In the End are fantastic.
Can't get enough of Noel's acoustic stuff, the album's gonna be biblical
It’s all just fun speculation, but I’m getting concept album vibes!!
I sense a semi-acoustic but more reflective and atmospheric than anthemic, as if working with Holmes he can go back to the guitar while playing with structures and melodies more than before
Also intrigued about what "part 1" stands for, I wonder if in the context of the record this is some sort of interlude
It sounds ok. It doesnt blow me away like Dead In the Water did, but it isnt bad either. Seems a bit... Forgettable, but its short and a demo.
Lyrics seem to be very reflective of the last coupele years, people trying to cope and find ways to connect to pre-covid life.
I do enjoy NGHFB newer music, but an album similar to Noels first two would be really welcomed.
Fuck He’s done it again hasn’t he
I love it but it’s too short! Perhaps it’s just half the song, hence part 1. I also have a great feeling about this album, it’s hard having to wait till 2023 for it.
After a few listens, it feels a bit like the old Noel-by-numbers acoustic comfort zone (tacked onto a more thought-out, cinematic track), which doesn’t massively pique my interest personally, but the fact it has ‘Part 1’ in its title suggests it & a second part might just weave through the other album tracks on the new record in the same way that ‘Wednesday’ parts 1 & 2 did on the last.
Noel concept album confirmed, part 1 is a bit of a downer and part 2 is going to be uplifting
Sound a bit pretentious here my man, just saying
Fair enough, I reckon it’s a pretty basic opinion on a song 🤷♂️. Although your comment originally said I’d swallowed a dictionary & I’m wondering what word you needed a dictionary to understand.
Is it piquing you’re interest?
Pretty common term big fella 👍
“Pretentious”? Jesus Christ, Oasis fans are so willfully ignorant
Yet here you are on an oasis subreddit 🤷♂️
Because I’m an open-minded music fan, unlike you
Nice little song. Nothing too special, but then also short enough. Love how he made such a nice song with yet again the most simple classic standard Oasis chords.
Not a bad song per se but I feel like having a whole experimentation phase for the past few years to now return to slow acoustic ballads every time he releases a new song is a bit of a waste.
But again not a bad song.
It's a nice part of a song but not really a song.

This one is on the album, that's why it's on Spotify. It's just marketing

Love it!
Lovely. Makes ya wanna pour a glass and toast the sunset.
The part 1 is what confuses me
Does this sound like country music to anybody else or is it just me ???
Have you ever listened to country music?
No. Just Let It Come Down Over Me was country.
I have such a good feeling about this album. He discovered a whole new way of writing music with David Holme. Who Built the Moon was version 1.0. So his second album produced in that way could be magic (and I loved Who Built the Moon).
