Is this Ace3DS+ clone cart really limited to 2GB TF?

I bought a couple of these "R4" carts from AliExpress:

R4 Video Games Memory Card Download for Nintend NDS NDSL Game Flashcards Support TF Card Adapter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003435151668.html

I didn't read the listing closely as I was under the impression they all supported any memory card size. However, after buying some 32 GB cards and trying them, I am stuck on the "Loading..." screen. I went back and read the listing and realized it says:

R4 Video Games Memory Card Download for Nintend NDS NDSL Game Flashcards Support TF Card Adapter Description: R4 DS flash card is an early flash card, R4 supports up to 2GB standard TF card. It is a pity that SDHC standard TF card is not supported. However, R4 has a wide user base and the most related resources. R4 game archives are directly stored on the TF card, eliminating the need for manual backup archive steps. The R4 archive is a 512k .sav file. For self-made software, R4 can automatically patch DLDI, and integrate Moonshell multimedia software in the kernel, so as to realize the functions of watching movies, listening to music and reading e-books. NDS\NDSL models applicable to R4 DS burning card.

Specification: Model: R4 DS Material: ABS Color: Gray TF Card: 2GB (optional) Connection method: direct plug Product size: 35344mm/1.371.30.16in Model: No TF, with 2GB TF

Note: Due to the different monitor and light effect, the actual color of the item might be slightly different from the color showed on the pictures. Thank you! Please allow 1-2cm measuring deviation due to manual measurement.

So it apparently really is limited to 2GB TF memory cards? Any recommendations on where to buy decent quality 2GB TF cards? Are the ones on AliExpress fine? Even the listings on Amazon look a bit sketchy.
