Two Lonely Flowers
Two lonely flowers swaying in the wind
With each gust, a petal falls
Two lonely flowers trying to find a friend
But each gust silences their calls
They sit so close together
But are too afraid to speak
Their thoughts light as a feather
But you still won’t hear a squeak
For they are filled with fear
At the thought of somehow knowing
That if they turn they’ll shed a tear
When they realize there are no more petals showing
