I actually got to see Jeff Rosenstock do a fantastic cover of Shake It Off during a live show once and it was amazing. First thing I think of any time I hear the song.

I thought I was going nuts one day when I was hunting for them and no matter what I searched they all just seemed... scrubbed? Just an insane decision to remove them, they were so good :(

I've never heard of jeff rosenstock but I'm glad I have now! And I had never heard of Andrew Jackson Jihad BUT I had heard of AJJ, which is what they changed their name to. I'm very pleased I heard this performance and thought it was great. Pretty sure it's supposed to be sloppy and lofi. Dunno if you're into folk punk/ antifolk but if you are then you should seek out AJJ.
By the way, you didn't get a down vote from me. You shared a fucking opinion. And your opinion isn't wrong. Because it is your opinion.

IMO it was the negativity that's getting him downvotes. The opinion isn't wrong (although I disagree with it), there's just already enough negative shit on the internet. Saying "Not my cup of tea" is different from saying "this sucks."
