Sound going out only when another application is playing something
Hi!
I've got a weird issue I can't figure out for a few days now.
I've got a pair of new bluetooth headphones which mostly have no issues except some applications seem to not play sound unless I have another application playing something back.
I.e. none of my locally installed media players, MS Teams play back any sound unless I turn on a video on youtube that plays something (even on mute). If I mute the youtube video - media player sound turns off a few seconds later. Turning on the youtube video back also switches on the sound on media player. The interesting thing is that the sound equalizer in sound settings detects sound going on (the bar is moving), even though no sound is coming out of the headphones:
Sound works fine in any games, discord, spotify, browsers.
Doesn't work on all media player devices, MS teams
Headphones are set as the default playback device globally, audio troubleshooting found no issues as well.
EDIT:
For anyone stumbling upon this, the solution was found in

Looks like this is related to specifically Chrome.
