Spyderco Dragonfly 2 deep carry pocket clip mod

In my quick search over the weekend, it seems like there is no option for a "deep carry clip" for my beloved Spyderco Dragonfly. So, here was my solution:

The hole for the clip and the lanyard hole are exactly the same diameter, so you can just move the two-sided screw from one hole to the other. However to make the wire clip fit correctly around the lanyard hole, you need to extend the parallel "channels" for the wire clip "feet". My tool of choice was a Dremel with one of those small cutting disks. I also decided to duplicate the slight counterbore shape around the lanyard hole, to allow the two-sided screw to sit at the same height as the original hole. For that, I just grabbed another knife and carefully shaved away material.

The result looks pretty close to stock. Now the knife fits perfectly in the 5th pocket of my jeans!

Can you post a picture with the clip off? I just want to see what you did. This might be what I’m looking for.
