How Desire Feels
You walked into my life
An unassuming unimpressive sight
Eager to heed your wife
The epitome of what a partner should be like
I walked closer curious
Resisting impulses that shouldn’t be there
It was too late
I fell into my feelings
A fairground of emotions; colorful and dizzying
Not able to see up from down
Go closer to him
An oscillating thought
You turned your back
For fear of something so potent
Was holding you tight
Go closer to him
I drifted in your direction
against my my better sense
Showed you in a gesture of my breasts pressed together
Feelings are frightful events
You didn't look scared just surprised
Said to me looking up into my eyes
"If I was in your shoes I would understand
how you feel"
you crouched down in the grass but
we were level in our hearts and minds

Oh, hi there; didn't see you! You've reached r/OCPoetry. This is a workshop site where you can share, read, and talk about eachother's poetry & etc. To post your own poems, you need to give feedback to 2 other writers. If you aren't trying to share, you're encouraged to give feedback, but aren't required. Try to be nice, questioning, and specific. If you can't do that - eat a cabbage and come back later. Try to give feedback to a writer without any feedback. Lastly, read our feedback guide , other writer's comments, or this author’s feedback links. If you still aren't sure whether your comments are useful ‘feedback’, or you have any other questions, send us a modmail!
