Enscape acquired by Chaos Group (VRay)

Plenty of folks seem to be on the Enscape bandwagon. Not a fan myself because it encourages some bad workflows in my experiences. (No, you don't need that multi-poly model in the CDs. No I don't care how it looks in the Enscape model.)
With this acquisition, maybe we'll see some better practices like proxy objects in Enscape. Definitely excited to see where they may go with rendering since Vray is such a beautiful engine.

Enscape "encourages" bad workflows as much as a store selling pencils "encourages" people to stab one another, because "pointy things.".
Enscape is amazing. If people in an office start using shitty practices because they want to see it a certain way in Enscape, they are idiots.
BTW, it was a merger, not an acquisition. My guess (no insider information) is that Enscape has picked up a significant enough amount of market share, that they were in a position of strength, and this helps them streamline some business efficiencies by teaming up.
