Looks like a confused poet,have nothing to write about,but have urging need to write. So the words just come out,angry,messy. Inner feelings are exposed,just as they are.

No that bit was confusing, I get that. If I take out the “he” of that phrase does it make more sense to be my internal conflicting voices?

Yeah, I get that external voice comment. It definitely makes sense and is a good and interesting piece.

For something that would make it clearer. Hmm, that's difficult. I would say clarifying in some way the voice from you. You could do separate stanzas, but that would change the flow, or you could italicise the others words/phrases while keeping your thoughts unitalicised. I'm not sure though, because it does work as being chaotic and you don't want to lose that (as it fits with the whole chaotic theme of trying to write and struggling). In my opinion, trying italics might be good, because then you can see and recognise the conflict between the two sides.

For clarification, I would also say that the most confusing bit was  the 'how can I/she/we write at a time like this' as you imply they are all the same person, whereas I got the impression that you and the other were different conflicting personas inside yourself. I don't know, maybe that's not what you were going for and I missed

My use of the 3rd person is because sometimes I have this voice in my head that’s like somewhat outside of myself- like the doubting voice from the outside world? I don’t know if that makes sense. Anyway is there something I could do to clarify it or do you feel like the confusion of it works for the chaotic nature of the poem?

Hi, I really liked your poem. It reminded me of the film adaptation by Spike Jonze (Director of Her) and Charlie Kaufman (as screen writer). If you haven't seen it I urge you to, it is about a screenwriter struggling to write an original script, as you here are struggling to write an original poem, but in writing about that struggle (like in the movie) you make something original.

Anyway, outside of that movie. I thought the poem was good. You displayed your internal dialogue well. Where you took us through the conversations with yourself where you are struggling to write but also find that you have to write.

My only comment would be that I didn't really get the purpose of the third person. ie where you say 'she' at the begging and 'we' at the end. I gather this is either something to do with your dialogue with "the voices", but for me, that wasn't 100% clear. If it is your dialogue with the voices I can't really tell which lines are your voice and which is 'the other'.

I really like this. It encapsulates what I think a lot of writers go through, and why so many become alcoholics and drug addicts. Sometimes it feels like going insane trying to come up with something to write about. Thanks for sharing.
