hear

deafening bell tolls harsh without a quiver

wrapped in tritone whirlpool of Half-sized quakes

useless blood folds fast yet pleasing plunges in

bones to inky Bound fabric knowing Love

Assault of sound soothful shreds the arms of icy giggles

affecting organs and leaking Sinuous grin

flung about in lacking light captured in a box

buzzing bone upends ribbon simulacrum shining

Smallest chains of second fetters refined inhibition

misty flutterers fly in massive direction

powerful sky along dreary wild tones

totally harmless mutually beneficial Dizziness

slinks to answer huge green debauchery pulling away

along with various elegant Herds and Flocks

rasping Cord slithers to deliver inward hands

creeping body frocks power under lock and key

desire spotted by things behind scream inverted pivot

divers and diggers dimensional drip toward messenger Drone

rattle pushing splatter magnets pull in raw bone

seeps potential red mouth map kept smashed

Rainclouds greeting with grins drip a sharp inhale

I can honestly say I've never read anything like this before. It's funny, I saw your username afterwards .. scattershot indeed! Whilst I can't say I understood remotely what you're going for here, I did, still enjoy reading through this. It had a certain kind of chaotic beauty to it as a visual piece of text and collection of words creating, for me, visual snapshots in my brain like a sped up silent film reel.

I've noticed some words randomly capitalised and wonder if this was meant to be a line break?

thank you! glad you enjoyed it.

the capitalisation does not have to do with line breaks! it's my own little secret.

Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our feedback guide, or look through the comment sections of any other post here, or click the links to the author's feedback above. If you're not sure whether your comments are feedback, or you have any other questions, please send us a modmail.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.
