Broken sleep
At dawn I’m sweeping porcelain
dreams—a third of bliss
split into sixths. The rays obliterate
my face—I close the blinds
then dart away.
Light is absence of the dark—
where mind finds rest
in moving eyes. Time and strife
should disembark—
I stay anchored. Every night.
