Modem and Router recommendations for xfinity superfast (600mbps)

Advice

I just got upgraded to a new Xfinity plan, and still on a Netgear N450 we got back in 2014-15. Are there any recommendations for a modem and router for this plan?

Any DOCSIS 3.1 modem listed as compatible and supported by Xfinity.

Then connect any gigabit Ethernet router that has the features you need.

For a modem, an Arris Surfboard SB8200. It is a Docsis 3.1 with a gig lan port that can handle up to a gigabit.

For router. I’m still a big fan of a tried and true Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X. Turn on hwnat and it’ll do great. They are old but still good devices.

For an access point. I love my Aruba Instant on AP22. WiFi 6 and great range.
