I have a curbless shower with a linear drain, and it has a leak into the crawlspace. Am I supposed to silicone the edges of the shower wall and where the drain connects to the back wall? There looks like there could be some gaps. I couldn't do a flood test, but I tested the drain itself by hosing into it, and it seemed to be fine. But when I started spraying the linear drain, I did notice a drip around the drain pipe in the crawlspace (but the water signs seemed more spread out than just that drip).

The LG G4 has done well for almost 7 years, but with WFH ending and having to go into work, I need a phone with a battery life that lasts longer than 1 hour.

  • My price range is probably under $500, and I don't care if it is used or new.

  • As for size, I prefer bigger phones. Use will mainly be for reddit, youtube, maybe occasional gaming, but not too much.

  • Don't really have a brand preference - (I like LG, but they disappeared so that is unfortunate)

  • Other preferred stuff: headphone jack would be nice, but if not I can go get a galaxy bud or something. And something with decent battery life and camera would be nice, but not high priority. A budget all around phon

Hi, I had a question on the wash sale rule. So selling at a loss is considered a wash sale if there were purchases of a "substantially identical" security within 30 days (before and after).

So if I were to buy stock A on 1/1/22, and sold it at a loss on 1/15/22 (not held for 30 days), is it a wash sale? I read somewhere that if there are no holdings of stock A bought within 30 days of the sale, then it shouldn't be considered a wash sale. And of course you can't buy stock A again until 2/16/22 (or 31 days after or something like that). Is that correct?

Hi, I currently have 3 accounts, and maintaining my US, ex-US split across all accounts.

  • Regular Brokerage: VTI + VXUS

  • Roth IRA: FZROX + FZILX

  • Trad 401k: VIIIX + VIEIX + VTSNX

I was reading through https://workspace.workdayinternal.com/home/401-k-after-tax-contributions and saw a bunch of posts in this sub talking about the foreign tax credit. Would it make sense to rebalance my accounts to keep all foreign to my brokerage (just keep FZROX and VIIIX+VIEIX in my tax advantaged and get all foreign as VXUS in brokerage) and treat all 3 as 1 massive portfolio? Relatively new to the bogle approach so any advice would be appreciated!
