Late Revoke, too late to One faith?

Rule 5: Currently doing a Bohemia run and I've united almost all of Europe into the HRE besides GB (PLC are PUs, rest of my subjects are HRE Vassals.) Everyone is Catholic including GB who didn't take the decision to become Anglican. It's 1650 and this is what I've got so far under Catholic rule. Is it too late to One Faith? If not how would I go about doing it as smoothly as possible? I'm on the latest patch with all DLCs.
It still could work, but VERY unlikely tbh. You would have to change a lot. You would need to feed snakes to your vassals, that have religious ideas, but you already cockblocked yourself in eastern Europe and North Africa. You then probably have to subsidize some of them, in order to work. You need to build churches everywhere asap. You also would need to conquer the world. (Though that is the easier part, idk if you even manage that, considering it took you that long to revoke). Don't forget upgrading the monuments, giving missionaries/-ystrength. Also go for parliament (same reason).
So theoretically yes, but there is a lot of micro and efficiency needed. Not much room for any mistakes.
I just did a one faith and kept track over time in case I missed it to see if I was “on track,” and in 1642(the closest interval I documented to your current date) I had 1,830 non-Catholic provinces i needed to convert and I finished in the year 1813.
By 1691 I was at 1,353 provinces left to convert.
You can find your number by going to the ledger and going to nations > religions and adding together everyone that isn’t Catholic.
How did you go about completing it? Massive blobbing and constant war while feeding as many provinces to vassals? Any worry of them turning provinces into TCs?
My vassals were similar to yours in the East. I fed Crimea all the way to Samarkand and fed Russia everything north of China. I fed Sardinia Northern Africa. Then I used different religious vassals in China, Persia, India and the Sahel part of Africa. Everything else I directly took over.
I never fed overseas provinces to vassals so they couldn’t TC it. As a general rule I’d take as much as I could in any war, pause, hand off as much as I could. Then before unpausing i would spam cathedrals In their lands so that they couldn’t core them until the cathedrals were up just in case they started converting before I could build the cathedral.
I hardly converted any provinces that didn’t have a cathedral.
So make sure the vassals have a direct land connection to the land you hand off to prevent them from making a TC?
I’m absolutely not an expert but I believe overseas is basically outside of their continent, and there should be a map mode that shows what is considered overseas.
I went diplo, admin, and influence, so I regularly annexed vassals outside the HRE that I no longer had land to feed. In the instances where they guaranteed dhimmi autonomy or did whatever else vassals do that make it so they don’t convert a province (like building up stupid buildings instead), I was still able to convert once it went to my holdings.
