For context already completed multiple playthroughs including my honor mode run so just playing on Tactician. I’m in act 1 still so I’m early enough to pivot to whatever. Currently Tav is a swashbuckler/hex blade and shadowheart as a shadow monk with an overall plan for her to get Shars Spear. Just kinda at a loss as to what to round out the rest of the party as. Currently have a basic booming blade EK and death cleric as the other 2 but I’ve already done a playthrough with an EK and death cleric just isn’t feeling very interesting at this point and trying to avoid the usual boring RadOrb variations. I also tend to always gravitate to having a Druid and/or barbarian in my team and trying to
People will claim he’s getting a lot of pressure on QBs but he’s definitely not worth the kind of money he’s getting paid.
Hurts shouldn’t have stayed on the island. So many excuses being made for a guy heading an offense that too often stalls out and struggles for quarters at a time.
To preface, I don't think this build is some crazy meta build, rather something that I think is unique and fun that can hold it's own in endgame content from my own experience. Weapon wise you are free to use whatever you want. The engine that makes this build go is the specific exotic class item along with Weaver's Call, both of which have received large buffs over the past 3 months combined with strong grenades.
The Solipsism in question
The roll that we are going to use is Spirit of the Filaments and Spirit of Vesper. Like the title pointed out, we are turning our rifts into bombs so we will be using these 2 perks as they have 2 important uses.
Filaments gives us Devour for 11
It’s time to expand Phoenix dive beyond only solar. It feels better than rift for running and gunning while also providing some more interesting build crafting to players. Below I have ideas on how to add their own subclasses flair different from the solar version in a way similar to how heat rises adds to solars with restoration and scorching. Each one will at base give 2x cure just like the base Phoenix dive already does. I specifically chose aspects not quite as strong or in prismatic as further encouragements for picking them in their base subclasses.
Variations:
Voidwalker with the aspect Chaos Accelerant equipped will cause enemies within a 5m radius to become volatile.
Stormcaller
Just when you thought low gravity was a bad modifier they also created this monstrosity. Your shields break and you go into a third person mode where you can’t do anything but barely stagger around until either you die, an ally defuses you, or you recover your shields. Lovely seeing all 3 of my fireteam staggering around unable to get to cover just waiting out the clock to die in a darkness zone. Did I forget to mention they put the haste modifier on as well which can trigger while you crawl around cause you can’t move fast enough?
Do we have any idea of what crucibles going to look like with Edge of Fate? I know Bungie didn’t allow any of the content creators to show off the crucible tab of the portal so I thought they would’ve had a dedicated blogpost or show it during the portal livestream. Did they just forget to have an overview and let it slip through the cracks?
This is going to be a strongly unpopular opinion but I think Bungie should make it truly a support rocket launcher to improve legionaries and not have the high end damage it currently has. Give it the reduced damage towards bosses just like wardcliff or eyes of tomorrow.
