Damn, "Gary Busey'd"
I had a buddy did that to a TP5 but he thinks it was an old lake ball.
Cool. This one was never a lake ball. Played a couple rounds of par 3 then moved inside when I got the Skytrak a month or so ago.
Damn dude! What's your typical ball speed?
Skytrak says 150-160 with driver.
Practicing with driver into my Skytrak/net setup during my lunch break. Was feeling pretty good about how things were going and then the ball split in half. Dang Skytrak didn't pick up any data, thought I hit it good.
I don't have a great estimate on how many times I've hit this ball over the past month, maybe between 3-500? No significant damage on the cover before failure. What's a reasonable number of strikes before I see it happen to the next ball?
300-500.
Although 299 is in play if he hits a bunch of em good…
I crack srixon z stars within 500 shots usually, can get more out of them if it's more irons than woods. What I am shocked is that it cleaved in two, normally a crack in the urethane forms and performance/sound/feel immediately change
Interesting. 500 might have been a good estimate for my number of hits based on your data. Was surprised that it went from fine to busted in a swing.
Yeah thats always how it happens. Indoors the urethane is quite durable and not going to scuff much unless you start a flop shot frenzy. Knowing the balls will crack after few hundred I'll often put it into my bag to lose out on the course rather than crack indoors
