Transfer Major Selection
Hello!
I know transfer admission at JHU is dependent on spots being available in the (up to 2) selected majors. My interests are somewhat interdisciplinary and could be fulfilled in multiple majors -- I am wondering whether it is possible to know which majors are generally over/under-enrolled so that my application does not get unnecessarily rejected if I pick a poor combination of majors.
Specifically, I am interested in the neurobiology & behavior, especially as it relates to mental health disorders. I am wondering which of these majors are typically over/under-enrolled: cognitive science, behavioral biology, and neuroscience?
I am also double-majoring in a Near Eastern Studies adjacent field at my current uni and would like to major or minor in this at JHU (this is NOT my primary reason for transfer) -- is it a good idea to list this as my second major, given how small the major is? Thank you!

Neuroscience is crazy popular, and I see a lot less people in cognitive science and behavioral biology (I've never met a behavioral biology major). Now, I don't know how that compares to the number of open spots in the majors, but I would guess that you would have better luck if you don't put down neuroscience. Again, I don't actually know anything about admissions or official statistics, I just know from personal experience that there are a ton of neuroscience majors.
Thanks! I looked at the CogSci and behavioral bio majors, and they actually are really in line with my interests.
