So, in season one Angus crosses himself quite a bit and I always wondered why after crossing himself he kind of waves his hand towards his shoulder, kind of in a wafting way. Does anyone know?

I think it’s got something to do with some superstition about throwing salt over your shoulder to ward off bad luck. And combining it with the sign of the Cross, Angus is covering all his bases. Just a guess from someone who got back from a wedding and had a couple of not so wee drams :-)

Haha thanks for the good wishes. Had enough drams to know not get behind the wheel, but not to the point where I’m seeing double or worried I embarrassed myself, so should be good in the morning. 👍
Side note, this was the first wedding I’ve attended since the pandemic, and damn, it was really great to see some of my extended family for the first time since 2019!
I’m so glad you had a good time and that you were smart enough to know when to not drive!
