Nardil + Moclobemide Combination

Thoughts on this combo as a means to combat low/non-existent sex drive from Nardil?

Seems pointless.

Better treated with a dopamine agonist or 5ht2a/c antagonist/inverse agonist like nortriptyline/mirtazapine.

Mirtazapine's side effects seem so bad, is it ever really worth it? 😅

I would be thinking of cabergoline or bupropion, or as-needed cyproheptadine.

Cabergoline has amazing pro-sexual properties regardless of prolactin status and is very convenient at 1 or 2 tiny doses a week.

I don't want to take a drug that has sedative effects. With that said, how long would one need to take mirtazapine and at what dose for libido?

No need to reinvent the wheel because Nardil + Parnate is the best combo ever. Your depression + anxiety won’t survive it. Plus side effects of both drugs are significantly reduced.

I want to try it again. Convincing my prescriber is the real problem.

Don’t even try to, it’s not going to work that way but you should be able to find another doctor for the second med and let him send your script to a different pharmacy.

Wait, you can do that? I think I'm getting Parnate but really want to try Nardil with it as well..

Is it possible for my doctor who is prescribing my Parnate to find out another doctor is prescribing me Nardil?

Not unless he has a second job as a detective.
