Where to find someone to replace small SMD components?

SOLVED

I'll try to keep this short. My son dropped his laptop and cracked the screen. I ordered a replacement but I believe I shorted it out by not disconnecting the battery and the power supply during replacement. The screen display works dimly if I shine a flashlight on it but it appears the backlight is not working.

Luckily I was able to find the schematics and board view online. I took it apart and found that there is a fuse that protects that circuit (F3). I put my multimeter on it and the fuse has no continuity so it is bad. I also checked and made sure the circuit isn't shorted out and it is not.

It is a 0402 3A 32V fuse... 1mm x 0.5mm... I ordered some online but I don't feel confident I can replace it myself because it is so small. Where do I find someone I can trust to repair something that small? Is this a job worth mailing off to somewhere? A replacement motherboard is uneconomical since it costs the same price as the laptop($600).

call a pc repair shop and ask if what they will charge. It should take 5mins settings up and replace.

And hopefully it didn’t kill the backlight driver but if it did you can usually find those too. Ask a shop if they microsolder board level.

Can confirm, crushed a screen cable once and shorted the backlight out. Blew the ass out of the driver MOSFET, but was able to replace it. Was a pain to solder the new one in.
