Merry Christmas... I was hoping to get some thoughts\ideas. I recently bought a plane with a Garmin GTX 335. I was flying it across the country and ATC told me that "my altitude stop reporting" and another controller asked me for my altitude and said it was "fluctuating and cannot be used for IFR.

I did some research by pulling all of the ADSB data and putting it into excel spreadsheets. It seems like it is impossible for the transponder to report any altitude ending in x600 or x900 feet. 600 feet, 900 feet, 1600 feet, 2600, 2900, 3600, 3900, 4600, 4900, 5600, etc all won't report out. A shop tried putting in a new ACK 30.5 altitude encoder but that did not help.

When flying I can see occa

GameStop's third fiscal quarter saw a 9% drop in sales to $1.08 billion, with a significantly reduced net loss of $3.1 million compared to last year's $94.7 million. These results follow cost-cutting measures under the new leadership of Chairman Ryan Cohen, who replaced former CEO Matt Furlong.

The big whopper is a new policy that allows its Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Cohen, to "invest the company’s excess cash in equity securities".

In other words, Ryan is doing a WSB YOLO and will take the cash pile from the company and gamble it in the stock market near the all time high.

I was looking into buying perhaps a 1,000 or 10,000-ounce silver futures contract. Instead of settling in cash like is typically done, how would I actually take physical delivery on an exchange like the COMEX?

I looked into all my brokerages and they only allow them to be settled with cash, there is no way to do physical delivery.

How would these contracts even be fulfilled? Where would the counterparty get silver from? How would one get it? Would they ship it to my house?

Millions of Americans can save more in retirement accounts next year, after inflation adjustments made Friday by the Internal Revenue Service.

"To fix the $47 million hole in CoinFlex’s balance sheet, the company is issuing a token called Recovery Value USD, or rvUSD, and enticing investors with a 20% interest rate."

I'll try to keep this short. My son dropped his laptop and cracked the screen. I ordered a replacement but I believe I shorted it out by not disconnecting the battery and the power supply during replacement. The screen display works dimly if I shine a flashlight on it but it appears the backlight is not working.

Luckily I was able to find the schematics and board view online. I took it apart and found that there is a fuse that protects that circuit (F3). I put my multimeter on it and the fuse has no continuity so it is bad. I also checked and made sure the circuit isn't shorted out and it is not.

A 21-year-old American said he used an unprotected router to access millions of customer records in the mobile carrier’s latest breach

The hacker who is taking responsibility for breaking into T-Mobile US Inc.’s TMUS -0.15% systems said the wireless company’s lax security eased his path into a cache of records with personal details on more than 50 million people and counting.

John Binns, a 21-year-old American who moved to Turkey a few years ago, told The Wall Street Journal he was behind the security breach. Mr. Binns, who since 2017 has used several o

You gambling degenerates managed to bankrupt a hedge fund, necessitating a bailout.

Why can't Melvin capital just uninstall the Robinhood app and reinstall it to restore their save game and get their money back?????

Reading between the lines, I think Melvin got a margin call that would have wiped out the hedge fund. That would have caused Citadel and Point72 to have a portion of their portion go to $0 which would have hurt their returns. They decided to pump more money into it to prevent bankruptcy.

Sounds like these hedge funds are vultures coming in to feast on the carcass.

Who is going to bailout Citadel and Point72 when they get squeezed too?

I have the REDstone mod menu and it is pretty good... but there I can't find any way to increase my level or rank. I also looked at youtube videos for other mod menus such as Ozark but didn't see anything.

Are there are menus or tricks to level up online quickly?

The ongoing oil price slump that has seen U.S. oil futures crash into negative prices, has ensnared yet another company after Diamond Offshore Drilling filed for bankruptcy.

In a Chapter 11 petition filed at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas (Houston), the rig contractor controlled by Loews Corp. L said operating conditions had worsened "precipitously in recent months."
