Best YouTube account out there. Hands down
Yeah love his videos. It's more relatable since he's mostly working on actual jobs for customers and (with all respect) not just tinkering around in his shed like most of the youtube machinist channels.
And the quality is just there. His wife is really good at making and editing the videos and he is a very skilled and knowledgable craftsman.
Indeed. Also I believe that was my rubber chicken in that video
Only used for loit machining!
We got unloaded no dramas.
Best shop safety officer.
Best machine I ever ran. I have ran a bunch.
The thing looks like a joy to run once you get the hang of it. Whole lot nicer than the silly Chinese knockoff Bridgeport I have, that's for sure.
Dan's got an incredible shop. When I grow up I want a shop like his.
Really cool. After watching the outtakes, it’s clear that this guy put a full day into just recording.
Fun video thanks for sharing! I'm skeptical of the claimed 0.001mm tolerance of I heard him correctly.
Yep. The machines are designed to do micron level work. That specific example may or may not be able to (especially outside of an environmentally controlled shop) but in general jig borers are (supposed to be) that accurate.
Kurtis from CEE walks us around their new SIP Hydroptic Jig Borer. Heck of a machine, with its optical measurement system capable of holding tolerances down to a micron. Can't wait for him to commission it and get it in production.
Pretty sure his name is Karl.
It's definitely Kurtis
One of his viewers sent him some gifts and addressed it to Karl, not Kurtis (his real name), it's a running joke on the channel.
Hah! I remember that. Been tempted to send some stuff to "Karl" just to take the piss.
