Today I became a dumper

I broke up with my gf of 9 months today due a difference in libido and major intimacy issues.

It felt like the right decision at the time and still does, but all I can picture now is her crying face when I told her, and how she is home, lonely and sad right now.

Part of me still wants to hold her and make her feel better, but I did this to put myself first and make me feel better

Any advice for dumpers?

It sounds like you did the right thing if you weren’t compatible in the bedroom. I’ll warn you that you’re probably going to have regrets or second thoughts. But ultimately you deserve props for ending it instead of staying and cheating as so many do when sex is the only issue. Nothing worse than people that try to have their cake and eat it too.

Imo I feel that a difference of libido could be worked out. But if youre not compatible, then youre not compatible. If you think you still want to be there for her, just try to be friends

Pretty much, I’m HL and she’s LL, I always wanted it, she never did

When it was an issue for me, it wasn’t really for her, I wanted sex and she wanted to just cuddle, so we compromised and just cuddled

Yea usually men are always HL. Was she on birth control? That might have been lowering her libido

You did the right thing imo. If sex is important to you, you'd eventually be miserable and it would likely eat away at the things that were good in the relationship
