Anybody else think we should be taking Baylor Scheierman (South Dakota State) more seriously as prospect?

Yes, played in a crappy conference and is goofy looking, but there’s a legitimately impressive skill set there at 6’6”, and he’s older but not ancient. Feels like we’ve seen the “mega-efficient shooter, great passer”-mold work before in the NBA for guys who aren’t going to blow you away with explosiveness.

mid 2nd rounder for me. Plays like Joe Ingles. Might pan out, might not. Can’t defend much 1v1 but he’s ok off-ball. Probably the Austin Reaves of the draft.

The guy does everything you want. He can score, he can shoot, he can handle the ball, he can pass, and he rebounds. Reminds me of John Konchar who I had in my top 60 a few years ago and has carved himself a very nice role in the league. I think Scheierman can find success in a similar role in the same type of mold.

ABSOLUTELY, he's been at worst mid-2nd for me for over a month now. INSANE advanced stats, easily the most overlooked prospect this year

He'll be drafted in the 50s. Mark my words.

Some exec is high enough on him to burn an SRP on the possibility.
