Not just scoring and rebounding. I was surprised to see that he's currently top-30 in Win Shares and VORP and top-40 in Real-Plus Minus. Most players who grade out well in these metrics get a lot of support from the nerdier, stats-oriented fans out there; not so with Vuc. On the flip side, casual fans and "old-school" fans have always been pretty apathetic about the guy. Vuc is usually criticized for his defense and lack of efficiency, but the Bulls are 7th in defensive rating despite his limitations and Vuc is scoring with career-high efficiency.

What do you think? Is Vucevic underrated or is he a walking embodiment of how these numbers are flawed and misleading?

I've only watched a few

Ohio State just got knocked out by Villanova, so Branham’s season has ended. On paper at least, he seems to have played better than several guys who are typically ranked above him on draft boards and are older than him. Would it really be crazy if he went like 11th?

Yes, played in a crappy conference and is goofy looking, but there’s a legitimately impressive skill set there at 6’6”, and he’s older but not ancient. Feels like we’ve seen the “mega-efficient shooter, great passer”-mold work before in the NBA for guys who aren’t going to blow you away with explosiveness.

In a draft class without a ton of depth, it seems harder and harder to believe that a player who is not old and has been pretty dominant is going to fall to the late-second round/undrafted range. Sure he doesn't play in a power conference, but man there's actually a fair amount of talent in the Mountain West this year (Orlando Robinson, Matt Bradley, Bryce Hamilton) and he pretty much looked just as good if not better against Creighton and Mississippi State. Teams also might look at how he's carrying around a bit too much weight right now and see untapped potential.
