The Shed
[TW: SA, depression, suicide]
I found my uncle hanging in the fucking shed
The man who took away my innocence
Was now swinging with no shred of humanity
His cold presence encapsulated the room
My recollection of his deeds hid the melancholy scene
Time came to a halt
Trapped with my memories,
Was I joyous?
Was I sorrowful?
Was I envious?
No, I was numb
With the seconds passing,
I fell into my abyss.
While falling, screams surrounded me
The people who love me most,
So oblivious to his wrongdoings
These specific memories never dissipate
They cling onto your wellbeing
until the day of your death
Haunting you forever.
His death was not something I dreamt for
It was a reminder that life isn't fair.
