Our Names

You just wouldn’t understand

Unstable ground is where you stand

I overthought every words that came out

But what I heard was not what you thought

Your riddles left me confused

Simplicity and you don’t stand together

Your anger is impossible to defuse

Peace and you don’t belong together

​

Where were all those years we outlived?

What you want is always what you see fit

When was the last time your eyes sense guilt?

Why have small mistakes always got us twisted?

​

Do our names even belong in the same sentence?

Bound by the word “love” in the middle

Or are our names just a pair in a twisted allegory?

United and separated just to leave an example
