I started 1 year ago... 130lbs lost...!
315lbs to 188lbs (at the moment!) Catch myself being so shocked by how I look in the mirror and how I feel when I touch my body; it's wild! I also suffer with body dismorphia, but I can not believe I've managed it sometimes! I'm in a great relationship, too, and he makes me feel so much prettier and sexier than I feel I look, and he cheers me on no end! When I put on clothes I've not worn in a few months and they are just so so so baggy!!!! This has been 5 years coming, my son is 5 and a half, before I got pregnant I was 160lb (ish) shot up to 315lbs, that has been my heaviest yet I was so embarrassed to say that but now I'm so proud! Bad things in life happened, and I lost control of me, but now i have me back... almost ;) and I can not wait for summer now!!! Used to dread that, used to dread getting in and out of the car or walking trying to hide my stomach, etc, but now I don't have a care in the world about it! Now I can focus on living and having fun and making amazing memories with my son and my amazing partner! I'm so excited for what the future brings now and not dreading having to find the right type of clothes to wear! 😁😁😁😁

I’m proud of you. I started at 315 as well and I was able to get down to 206 before I needed an extended break. For the first 2 month I stayed largely the same size (I would gain 3 lose 3). But now I’m at 220. I rediscovered my love for over indulging on ice cream. My goal is to get back into the diet. I really want to hit my 180lb goal.
Don’t be me. Your story sounds exactly like mine. Except now I’m back to 300. The slope is slippery and you’ll lose it all before you notice
This weight loss story was similar to mine. I broke a shoulder, gained weight in recovery and then the pandemic hit and my weight rose some more.
I didn’t go back to the height of my weight, but I increased to the 50% mark. Since then, I’ve lost 20 pounds and I am focused on getting back to the bottom. It’s the lifestyle and mental management that takes a lot of work. Things that rattle us often knock us off course.
Thanks for what you said Mick, I'm currently in the lose-3-gain-3 part I think, and it's really frustrating and makes me think I'm doing something wrong.
