Definitely a relatable piece that feels like an impossible situation. I think this was well-written. I also appreciate the lack of rhyming as I think that can be irritating for some reason. Thank you for sharing this!

A sea of dopamine, 

A tidal wave of serotonin. 

Watch as the waters fill my head

And it's all your fault.

We are many things

But if we like or love

Is a conundrum unsolved.

Both solutions are acceptable;

No matter who we are

I'll still love your smile

And your stubborn nature 

And your habits and quirks.

Let's give it a chance! 

Maybe we'll grow further

Or maybe it'll stay like it has forever.

No matter who we are

We'll make sure we do not split.
