I have a problem with AshGray, been trying to make sense of it all day..
Two problems, not sure if they're related. Here goes.
So I can't seem to get out of Hidden Village. I know what you're supposed to do.. that is, there's a path leading south to Route 6, according to countless youtube videos, but it's just not there on my ROM. I've tried patching a clean ROM with the 3.6.1 .ips but still have the same problem.
The environment looks different on my game - the trees, gym buildings, etc. The level design for Hidden Village is completely different to the youtube clips. Was this all redesigned, or have I done something wrong? I'm emulating the game via No$GBA, and using a patched version of FireRed(USA). I've even tried downloading a pre-patched ROM.. twice.
Any ideas? I was loving this hack, now I've hit a wall. Any help is hugely appreciated.
EDIT: Here are some screens (Cerulean, Route 5, Hidden Village) to show what I mean - http://i.imgur.com/ToQHU.png
Edit Edit: I'm stupid. Seems I was playing the file I had saved as Ash Gray.gba, not Ash Gray.gba. This was all after a very, very long day of revising for finals so please forgive me.

it might be your emulator- i use visual boy advance myself which doesnt have any of those issues.. yeah those visual bugs are either your no$GBA or possibly... well it could be that you dont have lunar IPS installed- so you cant patch might want to check that too
Thanks for the help, seems I was playing the wrong ROM all along haha.. and loading a snapshot from that ROM while running an up-to-date ROM didn't have much effect, strangely. I'll just restart since porting over my battery save file has resulted in Pikachu not obeying me.
Sigh.
