Sitting close in front of an 800 nit screen, I'm blinded sometimes.

Try sitting close in front of a 1700nit screen
I can go out in direct sunlight and my eyes don't need to adjust

It doesn’t matter what display mode I choose. Plus this screenshot is in game so it’s straight from the source unfortunately

When you set up your in game display did you choose to prioritize ray tracing? If so, the other option may be your answer.
