I'm being offered 3.49 1-yr online, but when i talk to my branch (and my broker) the best they can get is 3.65. This is apparently a push to get people to use their digital channels, as I assume it's cheaper.
But the annoying thing is I'd like to restructure slightly (lump sum some off, split the terms etc) and I can't do this online.
So i think I have to take a higher rate if iI want any flexibility with re-fixing :/
I have an old style plastic fermenter so was tasting my beer during fermentation.
Just before I cold crashed it it was quite sour, almost puckering. However after cold crashing & racking from the top to keg it only seems to taste maybe 1/3 as sour as before.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a chance the lactic acid was sitting at the bottom with the yeast cake & by racking from the top I missed it?
Looks like higher oil is sticking around, with OPEC not changing from their plan to only gradually increase supply again.

Why don't NZ banks offer 20 or 30 yr rates like they do in the UK/US?
Worrying about rising rates is a pain in the ass. I'd like to have the option to set & forget.
