Looking for a Russian speaking banker

I'm helping out a refugee family who just entered the US and don't speak English well. We all have a bunch of questions relating to [current events], and it would be very helpful if we could find someone who speaks their language. Priority for them right now is to open up a bank account, does anyone know of any Russian speaking bankers or managers in the area?

Idk about banks but maybe reach out to SDSU or Grossmont college. They both have Russian language departments and might be able to point you to a Russian tutor or something that’s be able to help.

Might want to post in this Russian speaking meetup group for SD. Good luck!

Maybe calling 211 could offer resources? Thank you 🙏

Try the Tarjimly app, which uses live humans to translate many languages including Russian.

So not sure how helpful this really is but there is a Russian Weekly Newspaper "Ekho Nedeli" that has ads for all sorts of services based in Southern California. Leans a little heavy on Los Angeles but there are some San Diego listings as well.

Their website has a business directory:

Also they put out the San Diego Russian Yellow Pages:

I didn't see any listings for bankers but maybe one of the listed accountants might be able to know of Russian speaking bankers and refer you if you call them - just a thought
