Stats are still pretty low, ghoul + big cleaves or bombs could win. The pirate exodia build would probably also win.

Isn’t it only like 7 copies of tier 6 minions in the tavern ? Or do plain copies go back once it goes golden

Tess just steals them from other people.

There are only seven initial copies in Bob’s pool. Using another card to turn Amalgam golden doesn’t pull any extras from the pool; neither does getting one from a Hero Power

Every time I see posts like this I question its legitimacy. I think about what cards i would need and the amount of gold required to get to this point before the game ending.
There's so many red flags that are obvious to me,
- Stats are too low
- If the game was average in length the only way you'd generate enough gold for 5 seafood slingers and 7 dongers is w/ card generation minions (i.e t4 murloc or t5 ele)
- If you did generate enough gold through those cards the amount of stats you'd gain from dumping your hand would more than your biggest minion.
I can go on and on but just judging by the stats it was a dead giveaway for me. Games just dont last long enough to get to this point. And if they do it's generally a 1v1 or threeway situation where you're stealing from your opponents/ghost. A 6 murloc + ghoul wouldn't last 3 rounds to a board like this at that stage of the game.

Idk, go look any multi-amalgaon comps posted here daily. Look at the difference in stats between each donger, look how much stats the biggest one always has. And most boards have a brann, otherwise you won't generate enough gold b4 game ends

You don't think it's legit? Check out this video of dogdog getting a full dong board with tess. The dongs are cheated out with brann + flurgl buddy, and they get gold for free with lucky chain discover of seafood slinger.
Looks the same as this board with more stats. Most of the stats on the dongs come from golden brann + tribes. I'd bet OP had less tribes on board and maybe just a regular brann, easily a real comp though.

Meanwhile I'm over here in the corner doing stupid menagerie jank with The Curator and trying to beat my record of a 200/400 or so Mishmash and wondering how anyone could possibly think this way of playing is fun. I just want to punch things with giant beatsticks and watch Whelp Smuggler blow my very reasonable pair of amalgams' health out of the water... Though I'll admit I'll never pass up Sefin if I find it since I'm nearly guaranteed a proc with whatever else I have on the board. Still. That's three poison assuming I don't sell Sefin. It makes me sad.

Battlegrounds would be infinitely better without Amalgeddon. I am so so so so tired of getting second because 1st highrolled multiple good dons while I had to fight tooth and nail on tier 5 just to stay alive.

So he deserved 2st because of massive luck, even if I (hypothetically) played better all game?
Luck should have some impact, but it shouldn't be able to account for the difference between 1st and 3rd in 1 battlecry.

You set yourself up to be lucky... If you don't want any luck you should start playing chess, battlegrounds isn't for you.

I literally said it should have an impact. But whether I get 1st or if I get 3rd shouldn't come down entirely to the outcome of one battlecry. You cannot in good faith call that good design.
I get the "you set yourself up" and it's part of the skill of the game is to capitalize on your advantages as they come but there's nothing I can do if the opponent has multiple ds poison dons, and I either haven't been offered a single one (I had a game a few days ago with five tier 6 discovers and don wasn't offered once in any of them) or I get the 4x deathrattle outcome.
Again, luck absolutely has to be part of the game, but for me to go up or down multiple places in the final score should be a result of my skill vs my opponents in most cases, not based upon who gets the best dons.

Frog build or pirate khadgar build absolutely smash this board. Even juggler demons would.

Problem is, it takes long to set up. I lost games where I could not find winning tech cards like ghoul, khadgar or golden selfless on time.

Frog can absolutely beat it with N'Zoth or Lich King and Rat Pack shenanigans... I hate Cave Hydra build, I can never get it big enough to matter in time. Meanwhile Rat Pack nonsense can make me like an additional 10 nice big 2000/2000 rat tokens with Macaw and Baron

Matsuri’s top-tier God stream just finished a Tess game, his opponent got first and only had 2 dongers as did Matsuri with the Curator who got second. Again, if the complaint is the amalgam trope be removed, cool, but if this is a post that amalgams are being too frequent end game I’d say welcome to BG, it’s a great game with a greater end game.
But this actual image probably happens in less than 1% of games.

Last opponent actually had a ghoul and 6 poison murlocs. But with the ghoul taking up a spot, it's still 7 poison minions vs. 6 poison minions.

When those things actually decide a match I get salty as fuck.
That would be in my favor (if I even had the chance to tie) because mine always roll plants.
When their plants from their DSPWF Amalgadon hit your remaining Divine Shields.
How do you feel killing a golden 6/6 Amalgadon as the last minion, and watching in horror as it explodes into 7 1/1 plants.
I can tell you it hurts playing a 6/6 Golden Amalgadon with 8xDeathrattle.
Still 10000000% believe that tokens shouldn't do damage.
If he ghouls which kills a golden selfless and he has a baron rivendare and the four shields go only to his 4 remaining murlocs and not onto the baron he can win
And if my plants don't knock his shields off first. There's ways to beat this but it's a ridiculous comp for sure.
i think double golden khadgar, golden eliza, golden baron and a couple taunted scallys might beat it... but like you said, ridiculous comp
