The track is accessible for fans on Thursday?
Absolutely! There’s support series practice/quali (Supercars, Porsche Carrera Cup, S5000) all day
So many people here for a Thursday. Great to see
There’s talk about breaking the attendance record, will be interesting to see!
I mean, there's no denying how big an impact Netflix has had for the series. I just hope FOM doesn't blow it by chasing the %-growth dragon and fundamentally change things for the worse. Thus leaving all these new fans with a product that does not at all match the sport they were drawn to in the first place, much like what happened to NASCAR in the 2000s/2010s
In previous years I could buy GA tickets the day before the race, this year they sold out months in advance, Race day is going to be absolutely packed.
Yep I went today and there were heaps of people
Have a bonza weekend Aussies. It's very nice to see F1 back there again.
1117 days, that must feel like 84 years to you Australians!
FP1 at 1pm what a time to be alive

Don’t do me like that. I was there the morning it was cancelled. It can’t be that long !?
It's that long since the last race

So 1117 days ago I learned the meaning of "fluid situation".

Looks busier than usual.
is everyone going to stay and watch the support races or just f1 stuff
Love that we're finally back at this track. Almost as excited as I am about Sazuka later this year.
Anyone got any tips for parking within easy walk / tram to the track? Coming from SW VIC
damnit, it was on 1107 upvotes when I got to this on my front page, but it had gone past 1117 by the time I opened the comments!
