Good restaurants include Rosario's Café y Cantina. Great ceviche, shrimp nachos, pozole, and fantastic margaritas. Address is: 910 South Alamo 78205.. The other place is called Beto's. This one is a little farther away, but the drive is worth it. Empenadas that will blow your mind. If you get anything, get their dessert empenada with banana and leche quemada. Address is: 8142 Broadway 78209. If you want any special kind of food, PM me. I know most of the joints in town.

San Antonio has 5 of the top 10 tourist attraction in the state of Texas, more than any other city in the state:

  • Riverwalk
  • The Alamo
  • The San Antonio Missions National Park
  • Six Flags Fiesta Texas
  • Sea World

At a minimum, I recommend seeing the first two and doing a Riverwalk boat tour. That much is doable in a half-day, with no driving required if your hotel is downtown.

If you want to check out the Riverwalk, I'd start at the Pearl Brewery and walk along the extension towards downtown. That way you get to see the peaceful, pretty part of the river along with the touristy part.
