My father’s famous line,

The only words that stuck, And stood the test of time,

To many of us worry, So many of us whine,

But are the trials of the now, Worth troubling your mind?

Is the rain ruining your hair, Worth ruining your day?

Is the heartbreak that you feel, Worth falling astray?

Are the little things that hurt you, Causing unstoppable pain?

Or are you just looking at the pictures, And not reading the page?

I believe you’ll see the light, If you just put your mind at ease,

If you walk into the hive, And let the bees be bees,

Stop worrying about others, And focus on your peace,

And in time you’ll be amazed, At the things that you’ll achieve,

Now you sit high, The captain of your ship,

But there’s pirates in the water, Who would like to see you swim,

Do not lose you head, Or quiver at the lips,

If they don’t like it, fuck’em, Just enjoy the life you live.
