They’re some species of inky caps. Common in lawns, they turn to inky mush in a day or two!

Mushrooms from the rains. Maybe the deer/dog/rabbit poop to the right helped spur the growth?

I'm hoping its rabbit

Unless it's more zoomed in than i think, it's too big to be rabbit poop.

Looks like a herbivore tho so I'm leaning deer poop over dog poop.

Deer poop is usually clumps of coffee bean looking things.

That looks like poop marbles, so I'm not sure what animal it comes from.

I found these growing in my backyard this morning. Blacl or navy blue petals. Very pale white stem. Any ideas?

Edit: Actually I think our found it. It appears to be hare's foot inkcap, a mushroom

Those are mushrooms.

I wouldn't be shocked. I'm no mycologist, I just assumed all mushrooms were circular and didn't have "petals"

They start out in a more mushroom shape and then the ball opens up into petals. If you look around your yard you can probably find some in the “unbloomed” state.

I don't know much about mushrooms other than those are super good looking.

And don't eat them.

Ah yes, those are bone-thugs-and-harmoniums.

They look like Dementor Kisses to me.

Dementor kisslips. They were first discovered by Hogwarts students in June 1997 when JK Rowling published her first book.
