Hello everyone, I'm gauging interest for an in-person Austin, TX game. I can host (south austin) and I'm willing to GM. Specific details can get hammered out as a group but my vision is a weekly session, around 3ish hours long on a weekend morning or evening. If I'm GM'ing it'd be played through foundry (a website with maps, character sheets, etc), just for the ease of automation since I'm relatively new to the system. I have player and some GM experience. If you're interested send me a message. If we get a few interested people we'll try to get it all sorted out.

No experience needed as long as you're willing to actually spend the time to learn the system. Table will be non-

How to mute music?

FVTT Question

Hello all! I'm relatively new to Foundry. I'm a player in a game and I'm looking for a way to mute music/ambient noises just for my character. I'm not trying to cause drama in the group and demand it gets muted for all or anything. Is there any way I can disable the music just for me?

Hey all, I've been thinking up a Throwing build (I know I'm not the first), but based explicitly not on having a return rune. If anyone has seen the knife fight scene from John Wick 3, that's what I'm picturing. Just throwing a bunch of crap, not just boomeranging the same weapon. I'd also like to avoid free archetype for this, just to up the challenge.

Here's my thought: Have a "host" weapon with runes and use doubling rings to apply them to any other thrown weapon. I think Swashbuckler works well here since you can take flying blade at level 1. I guess Rogue Dedication at level 2, then Quick Draw at level 4.

Braggart Swashbuckler seems best since Demoralize has range, plus at some poin

My next character will most likely be a kobold, and I'm waffling between Rogue and Swashbuckler. I'd love to hear from people that have played the Swashbuckler about why they like (or dont like the class), and especially what sets it apart from the rogue

Hello, I'm a complete newb and looking to dip my toes in the water. I'd like to start with just a little countertop project. Can anyone suggest a good a good brand to purchase from? I'd rather pay for something that works than go cheap and regret it, but I also dont need it to be the rolls royce of plastic tubs with water in them

Free-Hand and Fighter Feats

Official PF2 Rules

Here is the rule for the weapon trait Free-Hand: This weapon doesn't take up your hand, usually because it is built into your armor. A free-hand weapon can't be Disarmed. You can use the hand covered by your free-hand weapon to wield other items, perform manipulate actions, and so on. You can't attack with a free-hand weapon if you're wielding anything in that hand or otherwise using that hand. When you're not wielding anything and not otherwise using the hand, you can use abilities that require you to have a hand free as well as those that require you to be wielding a weapon in that hand. Each of your hands can have only one free-hand weapon on it.

While this seems pretty cut and dry, I n

Hey guys, I work for an electronics company that uses a combination of proprietary electronics and OTS computers. I'm trying to find a replacement for a MSI Ventus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card GTX 1660 SUPER VENTUS XS OC. However, I'm having trouble finding them in stock, and also looking to spend less than $400.

If I can't find that exact board, can anyone point to anything with the same specs?

I can try to answer any additional questions to help in the search.

How does this creature work?

It has the innate ability of glow, which states that it's invisible, but glows and makes it visible. So which is it?

It also has the ability "feed on fear" which it can use on creatures "under a fear effect". Does this mean frightened, or literaly the spell "Fear"?

It also has the "Go Dark" ability allowing it become invisible, unless it attacks and then becomes hidden.

I guess my question is...when is it glowing? Only before the first time it ever uses Go Dark?

While we always say that free archetype doesn't unbalance the game, I think that assumes that all PCs are using it. If I have a novice player that doesn't feel comfortable adding an archetype to the list of things they have to learn/remember are they going to fall behind power-wise to those that do? Should I not push them into selecting an archetype, but if later they wish to select one should I allow them to backfill feats for balancing?
