Battle.net connectivity?

Question

Hey all! I just purchased this on my switch yesterday, but I’m having constant issues with the battle.net login which are making it extremely frustrating to play.

It seems that whenever my switch is turned off or goes to sleep it will disconnect me and take me back to the main screen (expected). The problem is is after this happens it never lets me log back into the Battle.net servers when I click the “online” button to load my characters.

I know the servers are not down when this happens because if I completely exit the game then I can login just fine…but this takes time and makes the entire process incredibly frustrating. Is there a workaround that doesn’t require rebooting the game?

The server it s down until 12pm PDT time dont worry about it !

I understand the servers are down right now, but this is a separate issue…it happens when the server is up. If I close the game and restart it goes away. As soon as my switch goes to sleep the only way to reconnect to the server is to restart the game. I’m guessing it’s a problem only for people using the switch console.

Just gotta close the game when you’re done with it. Problem solved

I mean that’s what I’m doing currently, I’m hoping I don’t have to do that forever just because the in-game login is broken though. It gets annoying to have to do a full exit and reload every time I return from chasing my 2 yo lol.

Yeah, I'm having boatloads of trouble with it as well. Thinking about asking for a refund. This is pretty fucked as it is..

Blizzard is experiencing a DdoS attack right now. They're having server issues because of it, so drops and lag.

Seems to be more reliable for me after the server maintenance, maybe they patched something? I Still see it every now and then, but not 100% of the time like before.
