The actual reason why NAV is NOT dropping!
I'd like to highlight, that this is solely my opinion!
The real reason NAV is yet to drop is, that his management is probably looking for the best date to drop!
As of right now it's impossible for NAV to drop due to other household artists dropping. The album is finished, maybe some slight changes have to be done, but the management already got the tracklist, features, album cover & lead single. He actually wanted to drop in the first quarter of 2022, but as artists like Gunna, TheWeeknd, NBA Youngboy, Lil Durk to Charli XCX & Rosalia dropped in the 1st quarter, NAV had literally 0 chance to get another #1 album. Especially now with Jack Harlow, Future & Kendrick, Future & Kendrick would wash NAV.
You gotta understand, that NAV won't drop an album all of a sudden, he is yet to drop the lead single to the album, let alone even a snippet of his upcoming lead single, which means, that we won't listen to new NAV in the next 2 months at least.
Also artists, that dropped last year f.e. Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo & Adele are still making crazy numbers!
Furthermore Travis Scott's highly anticipated album 'Utopia' is rumoured to drop soon. Lil Uzi Vert's 'Pink Tape' too. Lil Baby too.
Nav is under massive pressure, cause if he won't get that #1 plaque, he won't be invited for interviews, he won't appear on magazines and so on, which is essential, as such things ultimately boost album sales. Nobody is interested in #2 or #3. People are going to clown him, especially after NAV made shit tons of album sales with his Vlone Merch (if we're being honest).
I hate to say it, but this time it is going to be a big hit or miss for NAV. If he doesn't deliver on his next project, people are going to see him as 'French Montana', who has semi-hits with features, but can't do anything on his own.

I think you’re right. We’re not going to see the album until July/August I’m afraid, but I think before rolling loud Toronto. Unless he wants to perform old songs in Toronto, and then announce the album then. A lot of artists get promotion from rolling loud for their albums/tours, so maybe he’ll use RL as a springboard into his album rollout.
