hi! i’m gonna be in Delhi for most of summer, and i’m kinda worried that my current wardrobe is gonna stick out in a bad way when i get there lol
i usually wear crop tops, lower rise pants, bell bottoms, wide legs, and short and mini skirts/shorts in summer, and usually in pretty bright colours or patterns.
is showing the stomach okay in delhi? how short is too short for shorts? how bright is too bright for colours?

Yes all the items in your wardrobe are fine for wearing in delhi. I have seen people the weirdest stuff around here so you'll get by fine. Only shorts that are too short are no shorts. So wear what keeps you comfortable. But it's just that there are a lot of people who'll be looking at you, but then they'll be looking even if you cover yourself completely.
About the color, well one time I saw someone wear a neon color shining shirt, like the vests that construction guys wear so light bounces off them, that too in summer. So nothing to worry about there either. Just have fun and wear anything you like.

Completely okay. I think your style specifically is what I see all around North Campus, Delhi University. So, also depends on where you want to live.

Yeah ion think thas a good idea. Dunno if you've been in Delhi summers before but It's like, you wanna cover up the maximum part of your body while also looking for breathability. Theres hot winds tatll make you feel like you are a potato peel crisp being baked, with light seasoning ofc.
But thas just me, you do you. Also have never worn skirts ever so I wouldnt know

You can whatever you want to as long as you are wearing a good sunblock or sunscreen.
I would say there is nothing wrong in wearing anything I have observed that..I have a friend of mine with incredible sense of fashion soo yeah she does not face any kind of problem but yeah the summer in delhi is the worst get ready for some tan lol

All these are okay in delhi but it massively depends on where you live, where you’re gonna go etc etc. Also you might get really bad sun burn/ tan in shorts and sleeveless/ crop tops.
I wear these when I know I’m going to a mall or some place w AC all the time. Otherwise loose, flowy palazzos and kurtas are my go to. Denim and thick fabrics might be too much. It’s been ridiculous hot lately
