HRV sizing?
Hi guys,
I am looking to get a 1997 built house 1600ish sq ft in Edmonton, Canada for a HRV which currently has a fresh air vent intake and all bathrooms have their own separate ceiling fan.
I had two quotes from companies and have similar prices (difference of $100) but are offering completely different products to me, especially in sizing. I have no idea if HRV sizing has any benefits or cons?

Company One: Lifebreath RNC 205 specs sheet RC 205 They said they’ll use the existing ducts which aren’t 1 meter apart (intake and outtake vents) but quoter said it’s just a like a foot(?) from a meter away so it won’t be a big deal. This will save workmanship so they don’t need to drill a new hole in the house. Price is $100 less.

Company two: Lifebreath RNC6-ES RNC C6 specs Company is going to add a new duct/hole into house. They also are adding a UV light for my ac coil (which will add yearly replacement costs for me). This company will cost me $100 more.
To me company two isn’t cutting corners but I don’t know if distance of the vents that isn’t truly 1 meter apart is a big deal as they say? Also I really can’t tell the difference between these two HRV models besides one having a much higher CFM and higher wattage. I do see the efficiency rating on the 205 is roughly 11% more efficient than the other model, but is that a significant difference in efficiency that I’d be actually saving a lot more in the long run?
I APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL HELP GUYS

Here's a rather comprehensive document from BC that might help you out (PDF).
