digital delight

Finally happy with my digital streaming, just got bluesound node, I've been using tv app to avr to stream but sounded lifeless, next got a Yamaha dedicated hirez streamer, it was better but vinyl still much better in terms of base sound stage and instruments separation. The bluesound changed my perception of digital, I'm using Amazon music and the dynamics, base soundstage everything is excellent, I might even go as far to say a lot of music is better than vinyl.I have almost 300 of my favorite albums on vinyl.Maybe I can save some money now and lay off on physical media for a bit.I dont know why the change is so dramatic, it must be the dac in the node.People say dacs dont make a difference, that's nonsense.I do think diminishing returns apply,to better my sound I would have to spend a grand on an external dac with I believe minimum benefits.
