Prayer of Earth

Poem

Earth, teach me solidity.

Give me weapons to stand firm,

and stand tall to fierce mountains and monstrosities.

Earth, teach me tenacity.

Give me armour to bear weight,

and hold fast against mighty woes and cruelties.

Earth, teach me intricacy.

Give me machines to meld parts,

and bring about technical things and alchemies.

Earth, teach me activity.

Give me engines to plough dreams,

and bear yields with thriving heights and vitalities.

Earth, teach me diversity.

Give me vessels to tour realms,

and chart through explorable paths and odysseys.

Earth, teach me anatomy.

Give me tablets to dig deep,

and grasp hold of keen treasures and understandings.

Earth, teach me facility.

Give me gadgets to ply tasks,

and make use of deft gumptions and abilities.

Earth, teach me modality.

Give me outfits to wear casts,

and take shape of fitting forms and identities.

Earth, teach me resiliency.

Give me forges to build strength,

and work fine gems through tough toils and difficulties

Earth, teach me maturity.

Give me totems to grow wise,

and to learn to be like you - grounded and earthly.
