awe.  I like the crux, 'I want to be with her in her darkest hour...'

The first read through I thought the poem had a sweet sentiment but then I started to see some obsession coming out.  Why is no one there in their darkest hour?  Why want to be the only light in their darkest hour?  If the poem is about love then why not want to be a star in their darkest hour.  Wanting to be the only person for them when in pain....I'm getting a mix of love and obsession.  As it can be sometimes.  Interesting.  Made me think a bit about why I'm reading into like that :P

I wish to only be the Moon in her life. 

Why wish to be the sun when you would only bring her brightness in pure light? 

Giving her the radiance she already holds within. 

Why wish to be a star among so many others.

 Fighting to be the brightest but yet never being noticed. 

The stars would only give her odds. 

Why wish to be the clouds when you would only be floating amidst nothing?

 But at times shadowing the rest. 

I wish to be the Moon. 

I want to be with her in her darkest hour when no one is there.

 Even when, at times, some are, I will glow the brightest. 

Giving her the most of my desire and love. 

Even if she didn't think me of her Moon she will always be mine.
